There are times when I’m scared to death of relationships. I get nervous that I’ll mess up and upset the other person; that I’m not good enough; that they don’t care about me as much as they say they do. And then someone comes along like him. And he makes me feel like I’m the most beautiful, intelligent, kindest person in the entire world. Like I’m the only person who could ever make him happy. And all of those fears are gone. He makes everything different. Every word he says has so much more meaning than anything I have ever heard from anybody else. Every kiss carries so much more passion than I have ever felt. Every look conveys so much more feeling than I could have ever imagined possible. Things just feel different with him. Things feel real with him.
